ABOUT CTW Kenya 2024

CTW KENYA 2024, organized by MIE Events DMCC, presents a 3-day exhibition that strategically caters to the Kenyan market. It offers an ideal B2B/B2G platform for national and global industry partners, investors, and entrepreneurs to tap into the significant business prospects within Kenya's trade and services sector. Kenya is poised to embark on an exciting trajectory of economic development, and CTW KENYA 2024 aims to facilitate access to these opportunities.

The event is designed to spotlight cross-border opportunities across four distinct sectors. It brings together thought leaders, industry experts, and visionaries from around the world to collaborate, learn, and shape the future of Kenya's trade and services industry.

In recent years, Kenya's services sector has demonstrated robust growth, primarily driven by substantial government and private sector investments. In 2022, the country's services exports reached a remarkable milestone, standing at USD13.85B, marking an 17.22% increase compared to the previous year. Importantly, services imports also saw a significant upswing, reaching USD 11.82B, marking an 21.8% increase from 2021. This growth can be attributed to key sectors such as tourism, transport, finance, and insurance, collectively constituting a substantial portion of Kenya's services exports.

Furthermore, Kenya has recently concluded a comprehensive free trade agreement with The European Union which is expected to substantially boost bilateral non-oil trade, targeting USD100bn within the next five years. This landmark agreement will contribute significantly to the growth of Kenya's trade and services industry.

In light of these exciting developments, CTW KENYA 2024 provides an invaluable platform for Kenyan businesses and international partners to seize the promising opportunities that the Kenyan market presents, fostering growth and collaboration in this dynamic sector.
