As China-Africa cooperation enters a dynamic new phase, following the 2024 Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC), opportunities for deeper economic partnerships across the continent are on the rise. In line with this momentum, Middle East International Exhibitions (MIE) is excited to announce the 9th edition of China Trade Week (CTW) Kenya, set to take place from October 2nd to 4th, 2024, at The Edge Convention Centre, Nairobi.
CTW Kenya has established itself as a premier platform for fostering trade relations between China and East Africa. Since its debut in 2015, the event has evolved into a prominent exhibition, often referred to as "Africa's Canton Fair." With the theme "Quality Chinese Goods," CTW has become a vital conduit for Chinese businesses seeking to explore and penetrate Central and East African markets.
This year’s CTW Kenya 2024 will feature hundreds of companies from China (including representatives from the Guizhou and Zhejiang provinces), alongside exhibitors from Ghana, Libya, UAE, and Kenya. Attendees will discover a wide array of innovative products and solutions, positioning the event as a critical space for business networking. Co-located events like the Women in Construction Summit are anticipated to draw over 1800 participants, further expanding opportunities for partnerships and industry insights.
A key highlight of this year’s program is the China (Guizhou) - Kenya Economic and Trade Exchange Seminar, scheduled for October 2nd, 2024, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the prestigious Sarova Stanley Hotel in Nairobi. This exclusive seminar will bring together representatives from Guizhou’s leading industries, including construction, engineering machinery, clean energy, smart agriculture, and specialty foods, with Kenyan government agencies, business associations, and enterprises.
The meeting will provide a valuable platform for in-depth discussions on strengthening economic and trade ties between Guizhou and Kenya, offering participants actionable insights into shared business opportunities and shaping the future of Sino-Kenyan cooperation.
